Khris Hamlin

Khris Hamlin is the Director of Early Career Professionals and serves on the IOBSE board. He is also the Vice President of Asset Protection at the Retail Industry Leaders Association, which partners with leading retailers to navigate the challenges of a dynamic economy. Before joining RILA, Khris served as a senior vice president of asset protection, inventory control, and dc/logistics operations for Saks OFF 5TH. In this role, he led all corporate and store-level asset protection strategies, risk assessments, inventory control, strategic asset protection hiring, learning and development, risk mitigation, distribution center operations, transportation, and logistics. He also supported senior leadership as a member of the executive leadership team. Khris has also served as the regional asset protection manager for Nordstrom, Inc., where he spearheaded strategic shortage reduction initiatives. His previous experience also includes serving as a top 25 store manager for Belk, Inc, and a 20-year career with Macy's, Inc. Additionally, Khris is an entrepreneur, representing The Khris Hamlin Company, LLC, a leadership coaching and consulting company. Khris has a master's degree in psychology from the University of Baltimore and holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from George Mason University. He is an intentional and purposeful mentor to many future leaders and career professionals, always seeking to make an impact wherever he goes. When he is not working, Khris loves to spend time with his family, serve with his Church, and travel the world.
