Vanessa Vaughn Mathews

Vanessa Mathews has been on the front lines of the crisis management and resilience profession throughout her career. She is the 1st female in the state of Georgia to graduate with a degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, she has worked with a Tier 1 intelligence agency, and Fortune 500 companies, and has received local, national, and international recognition for her work.

Mathews is the founder and chief resilience officer of Asfalis Advisors, the co-owner and Host of the Business Resilience DECODED podcast, and an adjunct professor at Savannah State University.

Vanessa lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is married to her husband Shederick Mathews.
