Our mission is to advance the security profession by providing professional resources that integrate security management into business operations, delivering education and training that keep practitioners and students informed of current trends in security operations and technology, and fostering professional networking to encourage the exchange of information, ideas, knowledge, and experience.

Overview

The International Organization of Black Security Executives(IOBSE) is a non-profit organization. The IOBSE was founded in 1982 by six black men who were attending the American Society for Industrial Security (now ASIS International) conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
